Discover eBird, the world's largest community science project, while recording local bird observations. The 2-mile walk, suitable for beginners, happens rain or shine. Meet at 7:30 am in the north parking lot of Walla Walla Point Park. No registration needed—just come and enjoy the morning!

Village of Lights: Winter Karneval

In January, visitors are encouraged to join Leavenworth's Winter Karneval, a celebration honoring a German tradition dating back to the thirteenth century, commonly known as 'Fasching.' Additionally, new entertainment options will be featured throughout the month, making Leavenworth an ideal winter destination for the entirety of January.

Snowshoe Strolls

Embark on a year of exploration with a scenic snowshoe adventure starting at the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery. Accompanied by Wenatchee River Institute naturalist guides, participants will traverse a one-mile snowshoe trail along the picturesque Icicle Creek.

Remember to dress in cozy layers to stay warm throughout the journey.

All skill levels are invited to join, and snowshoes, gaiters, and poles will be provided for a hassle-free experience.

Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop

Create your own unique glass fusion masterpiece using vibrant hand-pulled cane and murrine crafted at our studio. Say goodbye to plate glass – your design will be one of a kind!

The workshop is open from 10 am to 3 pm, allowing participants ample time to craft their glass pieces, typically taking between 40 to 90 minutes.

Bonaparte Lake Resorts Annual Ice Fishing Derby

Registration takes place between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Participants have the chance to compete for cash prizes and gear awarded to the top 3 places in each class. For the youth category (ages 1 - 15), prizes will be distributed to the top 6 places. Adult classes include categories for the biggest trout and multi-species. 

The entry fee for all classes is $15. Join the competition for a chance to win exciting prizes and showcase your angling skills!
