Zillow doesn’t want to pay for Google Paid Per Click ads any more than we do. They do want to increase their daily active users and they are relentless at it.
I recently signed up on Zillow again pretending to be a consumer. If you haven’t done this lately you are missing a million-dollar lesson after lesson. We have a multi-billion dollar company tracking and testing every word, click, user and engagement. Do you think the journey the buyer goes on has anything to do with conversion?
110%!!! If you can’t beat them join them.
Once I signed up I noticed Zillow sends me an e-mail after e-mail notifying me of new properties that hit the market as soon as they hit the market.
There is no limit to how many they send. Each time it takes me back to their website or app. This increases engagement and web traffic. This increase increases conversion, not a little but a lot!!!
I once owned an IDX website company. The daily property alerts most agents use are like a horse compared to a Zillow Tesla. They send out new properties each morning one time! Some agents even set it up to send out 2 times a week or even less often.
In a nutshell. Start sending ALL your leads EVERY new listing every time. Whatever CRM you use needs to be able to send new properties instantly to your client lead database.
Don’t just send properties to your HOT and active buyers. I did this to ALL my leads dating back to 2009. My web traffic went through the roof!
We are sending out thousands and thousands of listings as soon as they hit the market to our e-mail database and it is crushing it.
It also tells you who to call and contact first.
