When is the best week all year to list?

It is common knowledge that you should wait to list your home in the Spring.  It is common knowledge but, is it true?  The science doesn’t support that claim.  In fact, the opposite is true. 

When everyone lists their home at the same time you get a spike in inventory and prices temporarily go down.

We tracked all listings and found owners should list their homes the first week of March.   Only 10 weeks away!

Those that list earlier fetch 2-5% more money.  That could be $10k – $50k MORE!!  Not only that they get the most qualified buyers.  

We also tracked owners that contacted our team 6-10 weeks prior to prepare their home for sale vs. homeowners that called when they wanted to list.  

The homeowners that contacted us 6-10 weeks prior sold for another 3% more money.
