As your drive through the flat plains of central Washington around Vantage, Quincy or Ephrata there are a few park/points of interest that will give you a chance to stretch your legs and learn a thing or two.
Beezley Hills Preserve
- A preserve for a rare cactus native to the basalt areas in Eastern Washington
- PLEASE don’t pick them and try to re home them… just admire them.
- Free parking
Ginko Petrified Forest State Park
- 16-million year old forest of petrified wood
- located in Vantage, WA
- Views of the Columbia River
- Discover pass needed
